A. Managing the operations of LAN, systems and servers
Job Responsibilities:
1. Hardware installation, server selection, loads balancing, configuration,
troubleshooting and problem resolution for systems hardware and software.
2. Establish support framework for network infrastructure, ensuring cost
effectiveness, system robustness and high availability.
3. To establish and deploy system administration functions to ensure high
availability and high performance of systems.
4. Provide Data Network design, network consulting and documenting implemented
solutions.
5. Be part of the team to manage user calls, troubleshoots, resolve issues
and escalate to relevant authority if necessary.
6. Assist the Manager to plan, review and manage systems backup. Participate
actively in Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)
Pre-requisites
Critical Knowledge
A. In-depth knowledge of Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows NT/
2000/2003, UNIX.
B. Good knowledge of Macintosh, OS/2.
C. In-depth LAN knowledge.
D. Knowledge of TCP/IP and Cisco router and switch. Proficiency in multiple
network architectures, protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, AppleTalk), and tools.
E. Strong knowledge in managing FTP servers, DNS servers, WINS servers
F. Strong general call centre knowledge (including Fault Management, administration,
progress updating and escalation, incident logging etc).
G. Digital image file management, digital image file output.

A. Strong analytical problem solving skills complimented by good business
acumen
B. Able to deliver robust, secured, highly reliable Systems and Network
Infrastructure
C. Team player: ability and willingness to motivate and support other
team members
D. Willingness to participate in non-standard working-time models (e.g.
Call availability, etc)
